Timpanogos Cave

Today the 6th grade went on a field trip to Timpanogos Cave. We hiked up 1 1/2 miles to get to the cave. We went inside the cave. It is so cool!!! :) This is near the entrance.

We got to go in all Three of the Caves. Hansen Cave, Middle Cave, and last but most Famous, Timpanogos Cave!!!! Hansen Cave is named after the man that found the cave. His last name was Hansen. Duh!!!!

This is in Timpanogos Cave. It is dripping water from the Stalactites. It is so cool!! :) If you touch them, they turn brown, and die. So we can't touch anything in the caves at all.

This is what the park rangers call the " Hershey Kiss". It really looks like one. We hadn't eaten lunch yet, so when I saw this I got hungry.

While we were having Lunch, a worker fell of the cliff where we came out of the caves. He had to be life Flighted. We immediately had to get on the bus. Here is a link so that you can read the rest of the story.

Crying

Today I had a melt down at school. I cried twice. People always say " It's harder on the person moving, than the person staying." That is not true at all. I mean sure, it's hard making friends and going to a school where you know no one. But, have you ever thought about how hard it is for the person losing there best friend?

Today, when I was crying the first time, my aid, and friend, said " If you didn't love Mikah, would you be crying and missing her right now? Are you going to stop making friends because it hurts when they move? No you're not. Because getting hurt, reconnecting, and loving someone is part of life."

Today we did our solar ovens. It was only Shaylee and I because Mikah was in our group but moved before we did them. We left the door open so that the sun would cook the cookie. Shaylee decided that she wanted to close the door. I said no because it wouldn't help. Her friends immediately said she did it all when she really didn't. Her friends and her talked behind my back because I took the door down.

One of the girls that I thought was my friend, talked behind my back. I am hurting inside so much, that I don't even know who my true friends are besides Mikah, Cicily, Emma, Cora, Hannah, Mikayla, and Mrs. Williams.
I am feeling bad about my self.

I stood up for myself against Shaylee ( Miss Popular) and then fell down ( not litterally) but fell onto Emma, Cora, and Mikayla. I am so used to having Mikah there for me to fall on. IT's not the same without her. Whatever any one says, it will never be the same.

" Friends are something that you should always Cherish. Friends are unique and special. They are always there.
If you lose one, you will regret whatever it is that you did to end the friendship. It will re-play, and re-play in your mind. What ever you do, it won't fix it. You can apoligize, but that doesn't mean it will go back to how it was before."

Goodbye

MY BEST FRIEND Mikah moved yesterday. There was a lot of crying at school and at her house. The song that best describes the move is " Tied Together With A Smile" By Taylor Swift. Another song that describes the departure is " A Place In This World" also By Taylor Swift.

After Mikah left I went home and cried. After crying I called my friend Emma. I went to her house. While I was there we were listening to her IPod. The songs we were listening to were all Taylor Swift songs. In each song we could find something that reminded us of Mikah.

At 8:00 p.m. was our sixth grade star party at our school. Everything there reminded us of Mikah. We had to leave the bi playground because the tire, slides, monkey bars, everything reminded us of her. The four squares and the tire were the hardest on the playground. We always played four square and played on the tire.

We couldn't go onto the field so we had to go to the little playground for the kindergartners and first graders. Sadly the little playground had a four square ball, slides and equipment that the big playground had. We walked around that for a while until we saw our teacher.

Mikah, the hardest part to listen to in " Tied Together With A Smile" was " Hold on baby your losing it, the waters high your jumping into it letting go, and no one knows that you cry, but you don't tell anyone, that you might not be the golden one, and your tied together with a smile, but your coming undone."
The hardest part to listen to in " A Place In This World" is " I don't know what I want, so don't ask me, 'cause I'm still trying to figure it out. Don't know whats down this road, I'm just walking, trying to see through the rain coming down. Even though I'm not the only one who feels the way I do. I'm alone, on my own, I'll be strong, Oh I'm just a girl trying to find a place in this world."
You will always be loved. Even if you are in Oklahoma and the rest of us are in Utah.

We miss you and still
